I'd love to know which Kroger/Walmart you found them at? I've yet to find them anywhere in Raleigh/Durham. Thanks in advance!

I found them at the Kroger on the corner of Creedmoor and Strickland - the Kroger on the corner of Creedmoor and Lynn had the spots for them on the shelf but all were gone when i got to the store so guessing they had sold out - does anybody know if the WalMart at Brier Creek has the mixes? Thanks in advance :) ...oh yea FYI the Krogers both only had (or had the tag for) the cookie mix, brownie mix and the yellow cake mix...have yet to find the devil's food cake mix :(

I walk dogs/petsit out near the strickland area today, I'm going to check the kroger out. Thanks so much for the info! I just read that wendy's chili is gluten free, I'm still afraid to eat LOL, but its good to start to feel like I have more options. God bless, Tracey

Can anyone tell me of a good chocolate chip cookies mix. I have tried the Betty Crocker and also the Red Mill and they both taste like that have saw dust in them they are sooo dry. Please let me know if the cake mixes taste like this also as I haven't tried them yet. E-mail me at jmslittlebit@hotmail.com and let me know some gluten free tips/ideas??

I'd heard of the possible grittyness so I melted the butter almost completely and added an extra almost 1/2 tsp of Gf vanilla. I then let the dough sit for about 20 mins, the cookies were only slightly textured, not gritty at all to me. My kids actually preferred the Betty Crocker GF cookies and brownies to the regular ones...which is good since I'm going to rid my house of gluten pretty soon. I haven't tried the cake yet. Lowes FOods ordered the mixes for me and I've found them at almost all the kroger stores now. I love baking so this has been a blessing.

at earthfare in brier creek , they carry gluten free chocolate chip cookies and they are delicious, by far the best i have tried, i like my cookies soft so i don't cook them as long as it says on the box and they came out perfect, taste the closest to regular i have tried. They are by French meadow bakery. The Brownies are yummy too!!
