Several of the soups and salads at Panera are gluten-free, e.g., the Creamy Tomato and Vegetarian Black Bean soups are GF. They have a nutritional information binder that they can reference to verify ingredients.
A note of caution about Chick-fil-a: I just picked up a char-grilled chicken garden salad and fries. Both of these are supposed to be GF, but they also give you sunflower seeds in a pouch which have wheat on them. I didn't notice until it was too late, so get the salad but skip the sunflower seeds!
Thanks for pointing that out. It is wise to stay away from the Honey Roasted Sunflower Kernels as well as the Tortilla Strips and the Harvest Nut Granola as salad toppings.
Zaxby's grilled chicken contains wheat as well. It took me several emails and phone calls to find it out after I became very ill from eating their grilled chicken salad.
I emailed Five Guys a few months ago and they responded quickly and enthusiastically that their burger patties, toppings, ketchiup, and fries are gluten free.
I emailed 5 guys a few months ago and a quickly enthusiastically responded that the following are GF there: burger patties, fries, and toppings.
I wish I had read earlier about zaxby grilled chicken 3 days not over it yet!
